Capital Expenditures

WinProbe has acquired over the years sufficient furniture and computers to not have any large capital expenditures.

 

The equipment to build the equipment is at subcontractors who have the CNC milling machines and the Computor controlled pick and place equipment.

 

WinProbe does have a number (5) 3D printers and has spent $5000 on the first one several year ago but the most useful 3D printers for production cost less than $500.

 

WinProbe bought inventory of all the small parts last year (2016) for $50,000 but this is a convenience and now has sufficient small parts for at least 1000 systems and in so doing lowered the cost of  these future systems by $300 each.

 

Software costs about $15,000 per year to keep abreast of the technology and this is spread across mayny functions of the company.

 

Further capital expenditures could be needed in 3D printers for the next generation of systems and that probably would be limited to $150,000.
